A Preliminary Inquiry into the Problem of Officials’ Violence Crimes
Abstract: Officials’ violence crimes are on the trend of increasing with characteristics as combination of official-business men and/or official-underground forces, cruelty, detailed plan, extreme bad-influence on images of CCP and China governments. They appear not accidentally, instead, with certain social grounds and systematic elements including causes such as wrong ideas of power/violence, lack of human right consciousness, extreme egotism, out of control of power supervision mechanism in practical running, spreading of official corruption, low inner quality of officials, defects in officials’ promotion system, infiltration of underground violence forces into governmental powers, etc. Long-term mechanisms, e.g., supervision over power, prevention of corruption, scientific investigation and evaluation of officials, fairness in political competition, strict punishment of officials’ violence crimes, shall be established and perfected so as to reform political system, purify political ecology and effectively suppress the spreading of officials’ violence crimes.
